Vannessa Wagner is a Senior Paralegal and the Lead for the EOIR Department at the Yankey Law Group who is deeply committed to serving immigrants and advocating for justice. With a Honduran mother and an Ecuadorian father, she was raised in a bilingual household, speaking both Spanish and English. This cultural richness has shaped her passion for helping people from diverse backgrounds navigate their paths towards a better life as she comes from a family of immigrants.
Vannessa holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and Writing, with a minor in Criminal Justice from CSUF. This educational foundation has equipped her with the analytical and communication skills she uses daily in her role. Over the past 4.5 years, she has had the privilege of guiding individuals through their legal immigration processes especially those with active cases in court. Her expertise includes Affirmative Asylums, Removal Proceedings, and more.
When she is not working, she is a full-time mother, finding joy in raising her child while continuing to pursue her professional goals. She is driven by the belief that she can make a meaningful difference both in the immigrant community and at home.
